I have been making pots by hand for several years now for friends and to match specific trees in my own collection of bonsai. As a previous co-president of the Auckland club, and current vice-pres, I enjoy bonsai as much as pottery.  So if you like the hand-sculpted, slightly rustic style then these pots might suit your tree. I am thrilled to have won the inaugural Kiwi Bonsai Ceramics competition in 2021, for mid-sized pots, with the “Rainbow Pot”, pictured.

I volunteered to make individual accent pots for each of the NZBA convention goodie bags. After the unfortunate cancellation of the show there are now many pots, all vastly different, available for sale. These are around 50mm to 80mm in size.
